I scheduled a Deep Clean with We Mean To Clean and they came for the cleaning 2 weeks ago. I had just had the interior painted, and thought it would be a great time to have a company come in to do a deep clean and give myself a nice spring reset. Unfortunately, I was deeply disappointed. TLDR: Couches not wiped down, recliners not popped open to vacuum under furniture, cup holders in couches not wiped out, base of floor lamps not wiped down, side of fridge not cleaned, window sills not cleaned, front of oven not cleaned, bottom part of oven (broiler) untouched, and more. They also put my stove top back together incorrectly and when I went to turn it on it wouldn't work until I put it back properly (just spewed gas and wouldn't light), they broke my blinds, and they put scratches/dents into a corner of my freshly painted wall. When I asked for a PARTIAL refund after sending a dozen pictures and the boss admitting it wasn't acceptable, I was told no and that they would send the crew back. I said I didn't want to have to follow around the people who missed things and didn't do the job correctly the first time to point out everything they should clean. I never got a partial refund and ended up cleaning the rest on my own. It cost me $280 for a less than 1000 square foot deep clean, a living room, office, kitchen, bathroom, and bedroom. Two people cleaned for about two hours, and when they finished they asked me to do a walk through. I did a quick walk through and pointed out a few things to them - they hadn't vacuumed or wiped the bottom of the refrigerator and I have a very furry dog so it was quite obvious. At that point I should have known to look further, but I was in the middle of work so I paid, tipped them, and they left. After I found a bunch of areas uncleaned (listed above), things like windows and windowsills entirely untouched, backsplash of sink, front of stove, and much more. Took pictures of everything and the boss would not issue me a partial refund and would only send the same crew back. He refused to send in different crew when I requested it. It was incredibly uncomfortable and though they did an amazing job with the inside of the stove and the tub, everything else was inadequate for a regular clean, let alone what was specifically supposed to be a deep cleaning service. So I gave it about 2 weeks before I posted my review due to the owner being very unprofessional. We just moved and due to it being my birthday I didn’t want to deep clean our new house top to bottom. So I asked our realtor for cleaning companies she recommended. They were really responsive to getting things set up so so they could get paid. I used to be a server so I prefer to pay in cash just so they didn’t have to claim anything. I learned my lesson. I met the cleaners at the front door. They mopped their way out and did not speak English so instead of looking over the work because the floors were wet I paid them and thanked them. I hung out with my kids on the porch while it was drying. Then I did the walk through. And wow was I disappointed floor board were dirty, oven was dirty, and the ceiling had cob webs. We also paid extra to have them just knock some cobwebs down and sweep up in the basement. They didn’t even touch down stairs. So my husband tried to reach out to them. No response. I reached out a couple of times no response!! So I messaged our realtor who reached out to them and was able to get a response. They said we got a discount and they had workers there for a couple of hours so they are not going to do anything. We paid for nothing I spent 2 weeks deep cleaning my house with 2 toddlers which is beyond difficult. Happy birthday to me!!
